Members of the Snake River Professional Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists believe journalists play an essential role in a free society, providing information and safeguarding basic liberties.To further that mission, Snake River SPJ members defend the First Amendment, , increase public awareness, provide professional development and nurture a community of journalism professionals.
